STAGBI is a breed society and was established to provide credibility and integrity to the Standardbred and Trotting Horse in Harness Racing and other equestrian sports throughout Britain and Ireland. STAGBI is the approved registration organisation with the UK government department DEFRA and at the 2003 International World Trotting conference STAGBI was recognised and approved as the standardbred registration body for Britain and Ireland.

New for 2021! - February 2021

STAGBI are pleased to launch the STAGBI British Championships, a new series for 3 and 4yo sired by Stallions Standing in GB.

Races will be held in Corbiewood, York, Tir Prince and Amman Valley.

We are also looking for you your support in the NEW British Championships Supporters Club STAGBI will be making a significant financial contribution to this new series, but this is YOUR opportunity to offer your support.

BREXIT: Export and Import of horses from GB to EU and Ireland - January 2021

From the 1 Jan 2021 there are significant changes if you are planning to export or import horses to or from EU & Ireland.

STAGBI has prepared this presentation as a guide to navigate you through the changes.

Nominations for Directors should be submitted to STAGBI in writing by 22nd Oct 2020
(Directors eligible for re-election: John Towe, Sandra Weigel, Nicky Hannon)

The AGM will be followed by an Ordinary General Meeting, at which other business may be discussed. Items for discussion should be submitted to STAGBI by 15th Nov 2020. Only items listed will be discussed at this meeting. Discussion time of 15 min per item, agenda will be published before the start of AGM
