Congratulations to the Jones family from Sennybridge on winning the first STAGBI Future Broodmares race of the season at Amman Valley last Sunday, 28th May, with their homebred APOPKA G.

The 5 year old mare by DOONBEG out of APOPKA DENISE completed the mile in 2.01.8, 2 lengths ahead of second placed FORAFEWPEARLSMORE, with GREENTREE OUTWEST finishing third.

We were delighted as a Board to see the race fully subscribed with 10 mares entered, it’s great to see a series we have continued to build being so well supported.  Click for Full results

The next STAGBI Future Broodmares race will be staged at Tir Prince on Tuesday 6th June where once again we have a full race of 10 mares entered
