This Award is available to a Young STAGBI member (aged 17 – 25) who is seeking some financial assistance in order to pursue an activity that will enhance their knowledge and benefit their involvement in the Standardbred Breeding /Harness Racing Industry.
The award, up to £250 may be used towards a course, training, gaining experience or travel.
Applicants will be required to outline the nature of the activity and why it would be of benefit to them, proof of expenses will be required and applicants will be require to provide feedback after the activity.
The next awards will be awarded in Autumn/Winter 2023 and applications should be received by the STAGBI office by the 1st November 2023. Awards will also been made in the Spring/Summer 2024 and those applications should be received by 1st March 2024.
By accepting the award, winners agree to their name and activity being displayed on STAGBI website & Newsletter and being stated in a press release.
