SbORT – Standardbreds Off the Race Track

STAGBI are very aware that there are a high number of Standardbreds in the UK that are out of racing. While every Standardbred is primarily bred to race, it is important to us that we can show that the Standardbred is a breed that has great versatility and is able to excel at so many different equine activities after their racing days or even if they did not make the track. This section includes images a stories about Standardbreds that are enjoying a life off the track. Their ability to adapt is incredible from happy hackers to eventing, and from dressage to carriage driving. We are hoping to continually develop the section, so if you have a Standardbred that is participating in equine activities out of racing – then please get in touch and send us some photos and your horse’s story.
