Huge congratulations to Wellfield Picaso (Krissie Jones), and Billy Elliott (Emma Layton), who finished overall 7th and 9th respectively in the challenging Man Vs horse race at the weekend.

Wellfield Picaso is a 15yo son of Village Connection US x Delightful Artist US (Real Artist US) and a multiple Wales & West winner when racing.

Billy Elliot is also a 15 yo, by Sable Matters US x Carousel (Armbro Harrier) from the same maternal line as Crock of Gold winners Scoot Around and Fool Around.

Billy Elliot won his maiden in Musselburgh and was a regular winner in Wales & West and Ireland.

Great to see these racehorses excelling in a different equine sport after their racing days and demonstrating how versatile and competitive retired Standardbreds can be.

Once again, well done to all their connections. Don’t forget if you have a Standardbred competing off the racetrack, then please let us know.
